4 by 4 Accordion style mini album

Hi all,

Today's post is about a mini album I made for a dear friend of mine who is visiting India (She is married & settled in US now). I wanted to make a small and easy to carry that is not very bulky and hence I made this 4 by 4 mini album which can contain about 20- 25 pictures. It has a accordion style folded flaps. I used some simple MDF embellishments & some beads to embellish the album.  Hope you all like the pictures & video of the album.

Here's the video of the album

Hope you all liked the album

Film Strip Mini Album

Hi Friends,

It was my best friend Soumya's birthday in October and I decided to make a mini-album as a birthday gift for her. I used the Paper Mania Film Strip Chip-board Album. The reason for using the Film Strip album rather than building one from scratch was that we have bonded a lot over movies. (Little secret: while in Pune for Ph.D., I have seen maximum number of movies in theatre in the 2 years that Soumya stayed with me.)

I added a shaker element to the cover (Check video below to see shaker element)

Soumya loves music and so the guitar pocker

The flap on the right page is a accordion water fall

Long Envelope Mini Album

Hi friends,

I always thought that making scrapbooks was really difficult till I decided to finally give it a try and had so much fun. So I decided to start with something small and interesting: "Long Envelope Mini Album"

I made this mini album using "Long White Envelope" like the one shown below.

For making the album I used:

  • 6 Long White Envelopes
  • Pattern Paper From Papericious
  • Yellow textured cardstock for pocket inserts
  • Some plain white cardstock to make the cover
  • Glue
  • Tacky Tape
  • Vellum, flowers, die cut for embellishing the album
  • Ribbon
Here are some of the pictures from the inside of the album & video below of the album :)
